About the City of Orlando Florida

If you have ever been to the sunny city of Orlando, you can easily see why some consider this part of the world glowing with excitement. From our variety of attractions, to the vast assortment of educational resources, Orlando is truly a metropolis of variety. Orlando and the surrounding area bustles with nearly 2 million citizens, and most of this population can find entertainment at the heart of International Drive. This major highway is home to countless shopping outlets and infamous amusement parks such as Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Wet N’ Wild.

The Orange County Convention Center (the Nation’s second largest convention center) is also found on International Drive, along with over 100 lavish hotels that can fit a tourist’s need in either budget or luxury. In addition, who can forget Walt Disney World? Disney offers four magical parks and many attractive resorts which are suitable for any family’s vacation. Even Universal’s CityWalk can provide young adults the thrills they seek, offering an array of colorful clubs and sparkling nightlife.

Our city also offers several museums for those who find enjoyment in education. The Orlando Museum of Art is a modern building with varying works of both ancient American and African American culture. Additionally, the Orlando Science Center presents magnificent displays of human anatomy for all ages. With over 10 million people visiting the greater Orlando area, there is something for everyone in Central Florida.
