REFLECTIONS OF A STUDENT

Candidate for Associate in Medical Assisting Reflects on Career

I was sitting home doing nothing and really going nowhere. Then came the phone call that changed all that. A representative of The Centura Institute called that night in December and asked me, “How would you like to continue your education and get out into the workforce again?” I said, “Do you know how old I am?” When I told him, he told me it did not matter.

You are in a friendly and caring atmosphere. He said if you have the desire and the will, we have the School for you and the Program. He stated that their school was a fully accredited institution that offered Associate Degrees in Medical Assisting, Paralegal Studies, and even an NT Diploma Program. He further informed me that as an accredited institution, The Polytechnic Institute was eligible for Title IV funding, and that they would attempt to assist me in securing loans, grants, and other monies to help me get my training.

Since I have started school, I feel better, more active and more alive. You meet new and interesting people here. You are in a friendly and caring atmosphere. Enrolling at The Centura Institute has made a tremendous difference in my life. I encourage you to come and let The Centura Institute get you out in society again.
