Medical Billing and Coding Diploma

A medical billing and coding specialist diploma will prepare you for employment in hospitals, private clinical offices, medical insurance companies, medical record coder, coding technician, or coding clerks, medical coder/ biller and related healthcare facilities. You may also start your own contract billing and coding business.

Students will take course in medical terminology, International Classification of Disease (ICD-9 coding), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT coding), Medisoft software, medical insurance, hospital billing, billing & insurance and advanced coding. Additionally, students will train in the use of computer software and keyboarding.
